Eight uses for pressure washers!

A pressure washer is a fantastic piece of equipment where old-fashioned soap and elbow grease are just not enough to get rid of dirt, grime, mud or stains.

Where you need to clean a large surface area and you need high mobility, a pressure washer is the way to go. Here are eight tasks where a pressure washer will be the perfect item to help you get the job done quickly, easily and without having to raise a sweat!

1. Large trucks and semi trailers

2. Earth moving equipment and farm machinery

3. Building facades

4. Caravans and camper trailers

5. Paving, footpaths and outdoor areas

6. Removing paint from buildings, boats, vehicles and concrete surfaces

7. Preparing a surface for painting to allow new paint to effectively bond with the surface

8. High windows that can’t be reached with a ladder.

Pressure washers really are a cost-effective solution when it comes to cleaning large items or areas. They are also relatively eco-friendly as the presser-element of the washer allows you to use substantially lower quantities of water and often there is no need to add any detergents or other chemical cleaners. The pressure itself will often do the job.

Remember to be careful when cleaning painted surfaces such as vehicles, boats, trucks and buildings. If the paint is already loose, the pressure washer will simply strip the surface of the paint even if you don’t want it to. It is a good idea to lower the pressure on the washer to clean painted surfaces.
